Partially due to user feedback and the fact that Instagram is now owned by Facebook, some serious changes have been implement across the channel and we've picked our top four to share with you.
2. Location searching: Tagging your images with their location has become even more important now that users can 'explore' by location. Events, physical businesses and local businesses should really make the most of this feature.
3. Image dimensions: There are no more restrictions with your image specifications. No more cropping at awkward angles just to make them fit. Next time you upload a photo to Instagram, select the white square on the bottom left-hand corner of your image, this will resize the image for you. Videos can also be shared at their standard landscape proportions.
4. Photo editing: Say goodbye to Photoshop, you can now create excellent images within the Instagram app. There are now a tonne of built in options to help you edit like a pro. The downside? Quality control by all users will be at an all time high.
Love them or hate them, Instagram is here to stay and it's making some serious waves in the social media ranks. If you're not yet utilising Instagram, you should be.
